Day 1
Dopo un lungo e intenso viaggio, il primo gruppo con destinazione Dublino è finalmente arrivato. I ragazzi, accompagnati dai prof. Lisa Barberi, Alessia Malvisi, Alessandro Gallai e Marco Giuliana, sono stati accolti dalle famiglie irlandesi. Aspettiamo questo stage dal 2020 ….ed ora eccoci qui!!
🇮🇪✈️ After a long and draining journey, the first group that is going to stay in Dublin has finally arrived. The students, with the teachers Lisa Barberi, Alessia Malvisi, Alessandro Gallai e Marco Giuliana, have joined their host families. We have been waiting for this stage since 2020…and now we’re here!!! Can you believe it?
Day 2
Gli studenti e le studentesse hanno visitato il bellissimo villaggio di Howth, situato in una delle penisole dell’Irlanda. Per arrivare al villaggio hanno fatto una meravigliosa camminata sulle coste Irlandesi, ammirandone le incredibili formazioni rocciose e la ricchissima vegetazione.
Today we visited the beautiful village of Howth, located on one of the peninsulas of Ireland. To get to the village we took a wonderful walk on the Irish coast, admiring the incredible rock formations and the rich vegetation.
Day 3
Oggi, è il secondo giorno che gli studenti e le studentesse sono a Dublino e sono iniziate le lezione mattutine di inglese alla Babel Academy. Nel pomeriggio, insieme alla guida, hanno fatto il tour della città e visitato le principali attrazioni di Dublino.
Today, it is the second day that we are in Dublin and the morning English lessons have started at Babel Academy. In the afternoon, together with the guide, we did the city tour and visited the main attractions of Dublin.
Day 4
Dopo aver trascorso l’intera mattinata a scuola, gli studenti e le studentesse si sono recati al museo “Dublinia”, passando per le bellissime vie della città; durante la visita al museo hanno scoperto la storia e le origini della città di Dublino.
After spending the whole morning at school, we went to the “Dublinia” museum, passing through the beautiful streets of the city; during the visit to the museum we discovered the history and origins of the city of Dublin.
Day 5
Gli studenti e le studentesse hanno trascorso il pomeriggio a Dublino, alcuni facendo shopping a Grafton Street, altri sono andati al Guinness Storehouse ed altri hanno visitato la bellissima cattedrale di San Patrizio.
La sera hanno cenato tutto assieme a Dublino ed hanno potuto visitare la zona di Temple Bar.
Today we were given the whole afternoon to spend freely in Dublin. Some went shopping in crafton street, some paid a visit in Guinness Storehous, some visited the beautiful St. Patrick cathedral.
In the evening we had dinner in Temple Bar and we had a closer look at typical Irish pubs.
Day 6
Nell’ultimo giorno in Irlanda i ragazzi si sono cimentati in un’esperienza fuori dalla classe provando a fare domande a persone della città, avendo la possibilità di migliorare il proprio inglese sul campo.
Nel pomeriggio invece si sono divertiti provando a replicare tutti insieme le danze irlandesi e ascoltando le musiche tipiche.
Purtroppo domani il rientro…ma prima: Ultima sera con le famiglie .
In the last day in Ireland the students tried to do an experience out of their class in order to interview locals, and they had a chance to improve their English. In the afternoon, the students tried to replicate some Irish dances. Moreover, they could listen to some typical Irish songs. Unfortunately, tomorrow we’re coming back home….but first: last night with the families 🍀🍀

Day 1 – Day 2
Dopo un giorno di viaggio e l’accoglienza delle famiglie irlandesi, oggi è stato il primo giorno di visite ed escursioni in Irlanda per il gruppo Isis Valdarno di Dun Laoghaire. Trenta studenti e due docenti hanno visitato la cittadina di Howth a nord est Dublino. Paesaggi spettacolari e scogliere a picco sul mare.
🇮🇪☘️After a day of travel and a warm welcome from the Irish families, today was the first day of sightseeings and excursions in Ireland for the Isis Valdarno group based in Dun Laoghaire. Thirty students and two teachers visited the town of Howth, northeast of Dublin. Spectacular landscapes and cliffs overlooking the sea.
Day 3
Il gruppo di Dun Laoghaire ha iniziato le lezioni! I ragazzi sono impegnati tutte le mattine dalle 9:00 alle 13:00 a scuola, con gli insegnanti madrelingua. Nel pomeriggio tutto a Dublino: tour guidato della città e prime occasioni di shopping!
🇮🇪📚 The Dun Laoghaire group has started classes! All our students are working every morning from 9:00 to 13:00 at DLTC Language School, with native teachers. In the afternoon, it’s all about Dublin: guided city tours and first opportunities for shopping!
Day 4
Prosegue l’avventura irlandese dei ragazzi di Dun Laoghaire. Scuola la mattina ed escursioni nel pomeriggio. Oggi è stato il turno di Dublinia, un museo interattivo sulla storia della città di Dublino e le sue radici celtiche e vichinghe. E poi nuovamente un po’ di tempo libero in città!
🇮🇪☘️ The Irish adventure of the Dun Laoghaire students continues. School in the morning and excursions in the afternoon. Today it was the turn of Dublinia, an interactive museum about the history Dublin and its Celtic and Viking roots. And then, once again, some free time in the city!
Day 5
Il perfetto equilibrio tra scuola e divertimento: tutta la mattina per il corso di inglese e tutto un pomeriggio di tempo libero a Dublino! Oggi i ragazzi hanno potuto rilassarsi, esplorare, mangiare e fare shopping nella capitale irlandese.
🇮🇪☘️ The perfect balance between school and fun: the entire morning spent working hard in the classroom and a whole afternoon of free time in Dublin! Today the students were able to relax, explore, eat and go shopping in the Irish capital.
Day 6
Ultimo giorno in Irlanda per gli studenti dell’Isis Valdarno. Dopo le lezioni della mattina gli studenti sono stati “addestrati” nelle danze tradizionali irlandesi, con risultati a dir poco epici! Per domani, rientro in Italia.
🇮🇪☘️ Last day in Ireland for the Isis Valdarno’s groups. After lessons in the morning, the students were “trained” in traditional Irish dances, with results that were nothing short of epic! Tomorrow, they will return to Italy.
